Ralph Vocke holds degrees from the University of Kent at Canterbury (MA) and from the University of York (DPhil).
Additionally he studied at the Philipps-Universität Marburg and the Università di Genova, plus working as a teacher at York.
Prior to academia, he concluded apprenticeships as a bank clerk and as a paramedic, too.
Based on these experiences, he worked 12 years in a consulting firm in the area of organization, process management and automation.
Customers included companies from automotive, telecommunication, chemical, process and agricultural industries.
Since 2011, Ralph Vocke is working in the IT-Department of Nordzucker in Braunschweig, initially being responsible for group-wide IT Operations.
Following an IT-internal job-rotation, he took over the responsibility for SAP Extended Applications in 2016.
In both functions, the focus lies on providing sophisticated and stable IT services, always based on successfully completed, cross-functional and international projects/programs.
This regularly includes the integration of the General and the Operational IT ecosystems for the 2 headquarters and 18 production sites across Europe.
Consequently, various aspects of Automation, Digitalization, BigData Analytics and Change Management are regularly on his agenda.
